PhD student
Division of Experimental Oncology, Malignant B cells biology and 3D modelling Unit, San Raffaele Hospital (IRCCS), Italy
I am a second year Ph.D. student at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where I am part of a multidisciplinary research team that aim to investigate the biophysical aspects of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Medical Biology.
Currently, my research focuses on integrating phospho-proteomic analysis with innovative 3D cell culture systems to explore how mechanical forces shape the pathogenesis of CLL . My work bridges molecular biology, biophysics and translational oncology, with the aim to identify novel mechanotransduction pathways involved in CLL context.
I co-authored a peer-review paper published in 2023 and I share a first authorship in a recently published review article focusing on the mechanobiology on B lymphocytes. My contribution have been recognized with several awards, including a prize for a best poster at the 3R Meeting congress by the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2023, and an award for my Master's thesis project from the Italian Platform for Alternative Methods (IPAM) in 2024.
