Dr. Tamar Tsertsvadze, PhD, is an experienced researcher specializing in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). She has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Soros Foundation Award, World Federation of Scientists Scholarship, the Ivane Beritashvili Scholarship in Medical and Health Sciences (2019), and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Scholarship for outstanding scientific activity and field development (2021). Her research focuses on the role of CD180 in CLL pathogenesis. Dr. Tsertsvadze holds a Certificate in Laboratory Medicine and is an expert flow cytometrist, having worked extensively with BD, Cyan, and FacsCalibur cytometers. She has also served for several years as Senior Flow Cytometry Operator at a TSU-affiliated diagnostic center, providing clinical support for childhood leukemia.
