Dr. Mohammad Al-Agil MB BCh BAO NUI, MSc is a clinically trained doctor and Senior Developer Analyst in the King’s College Hospital CogStack team and a Cancer & Pharmaceutical Research PhD student at King’s College London. His research focuses on building multimodal infection prediction models for CLL patients using real-world NHS electronic patient records. He develops predictive models and automated registry pipelines using CogStack, MedCAT, ElasticSearch, and Apache NiFi to support cross-specialty audits, service evaluations, and clinical research. With over 25 publications and extensive peer review experience, he applies medical training to advanced health informatics to enable data-driven improvements in haematology and oncology care. At IWCLL 2025, he will present his work on natural language processing–driven cohort building for CLL research.
