Ja Min Byun is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital. A well-respected hematologist from Seoul, Korea, she studied at the Kyung Hee University College of Medicine and Seoul National University. Her post-graduate training included a residency in the Department of Internal Medicine, Kyung Hee University Hospital and a clinical fellowship in her current division at Seoul National University Hospital. Byum has received many awards for her research in hematology and oncology, including a travel grant from The European Hematology Association EHA2022 Congress and more recently, in 2023, The 65th Korean Society of Hematology Best Research Award.
