Tanya Siddiqi, M.D. is the Medical Director of the Lymphoma and IEC Programs at City of Hope Orange County in California and the Director of the CLL Program and Professor in the Department of Hematology/HCT at City of Hope. She is an accomplished hematologist-oncologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating B-cell lymphomas especially chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). In addition to her busy clinical practice, Dr. Siddiqi is also the principal investigator of several national and international clinical trials evaluating the role of targeted therapies in CLL, including CAR T cell therapy and other novel agents. As a result, she has been part of many major presentations and publications over the years, some of which have led to FDA approvals of agents and have been practice changing.
Dr. Siddiqi earned her medical degree in 2000 at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. Afterwards, she completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, followed by Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA) and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation fellowship at City of Hope.
