Dr. Eugen Tausch is a medical doctor specializing in hematology and oncology at the University Hospital Ulm, Germany, who worked in patient care and research in the Division of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in the Department of Internal Medicine III. In 2022 he' has an additional focus on early clinical trials and molecular tumor therapy at the comprehensive cancer center Ulm . Dr. Tausch completed his medical degree and doctoral thesis at the University of Regensburg and has held postdoctoral fellowships and residencies at Ulm University Hospital, supported by the Clinician Scientist Scholarship from the Else Kröner Fresenius Stiftung. Furthermore he's resonsible for the molecular diagnostics and cytogenetics in the Central laboratory of Molecular Genetics in the German CLL Study group. He has received awards for his research on CLL and contributed extensively to the field's genetic and clinical trial studies.
