Krzysztof Jamroziak, MD, PhD, is the Deputy Head of the Department of Haematology, Transplantation and Internal Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. He graduated from the Medical University of Łódź in 2000 with an MD degree. Following graduation, he joined the PhD program at the Department of Hematology, Medical University of Łódź, under the supervision of Professor Tadeusz Robak, and obtained his PhD in 2004.
From 2004 to 2013, he worked at the Department of Hematology, Medical University of Łódź, initially as an assistant and, after receiving his habilitation (DSc) degree in 2013, as an associate professor. Between 2014 and 2018, he served as the Head of the Department of Lymphoproliferative Diseases at the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, where he was awarded the title of full professor.
His main scientific interests include the design and conduct of investigator-sponsored clinical trials with novel therapies, genomic studies, and the identification of prognostic markers, primarily in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, and AL amyloidosis. He is an active member of the Polish Adult Leukemia Group (PALG) and currently serves as Vice-President of the Polish Myeloma Consortium (PMC), a non-governmental organization that coordinates non-commercial, multicenter clinical trials in multiple myeloma. He is also a board member of the Polish Myeloma Group.
