The following policies have been established for journalists attending or covering the 21st International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (XXI iwCLL) Biennial Meeting, as well as for presenters, exhibitors, and public relations professionals wishing to distribute materials related to the research being presented at XXI iwCLL.

Individuals, companies, organizations, or institutions found violating these policies will have their access to the XXI iwCLL Meeting revoked.

Embargo Information

Companies and institutions are allowed to disseminate press releases in association with XXI iwCLL; however, all materials are embargoed according to the following:

Any planned press releases or media alerts related to XXI iwCLL must comply with the following guidelines:

XXI International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (XXI iwCLL) Biennial Meeting 

Pre-Meeting Press Releases: These releases (such as a Curtain-Raiser Release) may be issued with only logistical information (for instance, the title, poster number, and presentation date and time) about an abstract/poster/oral presentation according to the Abstract Title Embargo date (see above).

NOTE: Journalists deemed in violation of any XXI iwCLL Media Policy will have their meeting press privileges revoked.

Please note, there is no formal press room or prescheduled press conference for XXI iwCLL 2025 at this time. The designated XXI iwCLL media contact (stationed at the Registration table) will be available on-site to answer any questions.

Press Policies and Registration

XXI iwCLL will provide complimentary meeting registration to professional journalists representing media organizations for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce media coverage of the meeting. 

To gain access to XXI iwCLL, journalists and medical/science writers must register for the program, provide all requested information, and abide by the media policies outlined within this document.
